Regina Bell, Environmental Service Manager, earned the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriotic Employer Award. She was nominated by Kazuma Takizawa who is an Environmental Specialist at Vulcan and currently serves in the Illinois National Guard with the 1970th Quartermaster Company in North Riverside.

It’s ROADeo season!

Ready-Mix drivers from our Mideast Division competed in the 2022 Truck Roadeo to promote safety. Drivers earned points competing in a written exam, pre-trip inspection and driving challenge course.

Check out our Central Quarry Team in Lexington, KY roof bolting, drilling and mucking some 650 feet below the ground. Fun fact: the Quarry first opened its gates in the 1890s. Underground mining began at the site in the 1940s.

Women Build

Coming together to build stronger, safer communities. Members of our Texas team partnered with the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) for the Women in Construction Week Habitat for Humanity Build. Volunteers worked under the guidance of construction professionals and future Habitat homeowners. The NAWIC mission: championing women to impact the direction of the construction industry.
