“Fill the Need. Feed the Hope.”

“Fill the Need. Feed the Hope.” The Elk Grove Food Bank feeds 200-300 people every day. Demand has grown 600% since the onset of COVID-19. Our partnership with food banks and local organizations across our footprint, helps provide essential food and services to families and seniors in need. Food insecurity is real and it’s growing. Consider volunteering or donating today. Charlette's Girls

Right now, there are children and families in Columbia's Booker Washington Heights Community who are sleeping on the floor of their homes because they do not have access to beds. A group of women, named Charlette's Girls, want to help by providing mattresses and bedding for those in need. It’s a great mission that our Columbia and Dreyfus Quarry teams are proud to support.

State Route 180 Kings Canyon Expressway

Congrats to the California Department of Transportation, the Fresno County Transportation Authority and the many project partners on the completion of 4.5 miles of new highway on the State Route 180 Kings Canyon Expressway. This final phase of the new $54.2 million Expressway will facilitate improved access to destinations within the rural areas of Eastern Fresno County which serves as the gateway to Kings Canyon National Park and Sequoia National Park. It also links Eastern Fresno County to vital regional services, and is the primary agricultural goods and movement corridor for the region. Our Sanger Sand & Gravel Team produced and delivered construction aggregates to the jobsite via a 700-foot conveyor, over the active roadway to the construction site. The unique delivery method improved safety, relieved traffic congestion and reduced emissions.
