Harmony Elementary Partnership

Celebrating 100 years. In partnership with the PTA, our Georgia team is helping build an outdoor walking track at Harmony Elementary School in Buford, GA to mark the school’s historic milestone. Special thanks to our people from Friendship Quarry, Southeast Division Logistics, Heavy Haul Transportation Dept., Community & Gov.’t Relations. Our Lithonia Quarry team recently hosted Congressman Hank Johnson and officials to celebrate the passage of the bi-partisan Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act which rebuilds critical community infrastructure across America including roads, bridges and rail.

Kentucky Relief Efforts

On the evening of Friday, December 10, Western Kentucky was devastated by an EF4 tornado with winds of around 190 miles per hour. On Saturday morning, our local Vulcan team mobilized to help first responders who were converging in Mayfield for search and rescue efforts in the town of about 10,000 where nearly every structure was destroyed, including the candle factory.

Partnering with Skatebird Miami

It’s rad! Our Miami Quarry team partnered with Skatebird Miami to help open this new sports and art destination that will host the community and tourists from all over the world. On hand for the grand opening were Sales Representative Eddie Alvarez and his son along with Area Sales Manager Frank Suarez with his children.
