Our Helotes team hosted a group of high school students attending the University of Texas at San Antonio’s Transportation Construction Institute Summer Course. The course is funded by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT).

Having Fun for a Great Cause.

Our California team marked their 34th year participating in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser. The event raised $42,000 which will help provide support and activities for children in the community.

Teams from our Central and Southern Gulf Coast Divisions are saluting service members past and present this week. Banners are displayed at our facilities in Tuscumbia, Notasulga, Helena, Glencoe, Tarrant and Calera, Alabama as well as Springfield, Pleasant View, Kingsport, Hermitage, Franklin, Anitoch, Columbia and Chattanooga, Tennessee.

These Candler Elementary students made good use of rock donated by our Enka Quarry (NC) Team. The painted rocks will beautify the rock garden behind their school. We love helping to inspire student creativity in our communities.

In honor of our social and environmental commitment to our communities and our people, our SAC-TUN operation near Quintana Roo, Mexico, was recognized by CEMEFI as a Socially Responsible Company. The award was presented at the fifth Socially Responsible forum 2022 in Quintana Roo.

Eagle Scout Project

Creating a place for friends and family to enjoy nature. Our Pineville Quarry team helped Michael Ouderkirk complete his Eagle Scout project by donating material for the construction of three picnic pads with tables and grills near Kings Mountain State Park.
